I teamed up with Capacity Studios and Epic Games to create the 'Unreal Pro League', a fictitious soccer league, as a sample project that showcases the new Motion Design tools in Unreal Engine 5.6.
The graphics package showcases all of the elements you'd see in a typical sports broadcast, including full screens, score bugs, lower thirds, wipes, an open, and more. We utilized Unreal Engine's new cloner system, material designer, modifiers, and animators to create the animations. Then, we toolkitted them for realtime operator customization using Transition Logic and the new Remote Control tools (for swapping out team logos, player headshots, text, etc.).
